The difference between all ceramic packing and light ceramic packing:


1、 Firstly, there is the difference in materials.


The raw material for producing ceramic products, kaolin, must be sintered at 1200 ° C to form ceramics. All ceramics are sintered at a high temperature of 1270 ° C. The main raw materials for production are aluminum oxide and silicon dioxide, accounting for over 90%. "Light porcelain" is made by sintering at a medium temperature of 860 ° to 960 ° C, and the production raw materials are mainly aluminum metasilicate, sodium metasilicate, magnesium oxide, etc.

2、 The service life of all ceramics is longer than that of light ceramics:


the compressive strength of all ceramics is above 150MPa, while the compressive strength of light ceramics is only 5MPa. In the packed tower in contact with water vapor, the droplets distributed by the distributor and the staggered placement between the fillers, as well as the droplets formed by the liquid surface, have a certain impact on the fillers. Drops of water pierce through stones, and those with low strength are easy to drip through and rupture, forming local or overall collapse blockages. Causing the phenomenon of wall flow ditch flow, thereby increasing the pressure of the blower, reducing the absorption efficiency of the packed tower, and increasing operating costs.


3、 The operational flexibility of all ceramics is greater than that of light ceramics:


all ceramics have a rough surface and good wetting performance, with a water absorption rate of less than 1%, while light ceramics have wetting performance but a water absorption rate of over 30%. After actual operation, light porcelain is heavier than all porcelain due to water absorption, and with the same desulfurizer, light porcelain is more than 30% heavier than all porcelain. Under the same volume, the operating weight of light porcelain is more than 20% heavier than that of light porcelain, resulting in increased tower support and increased equipment investment costs.


4、 The applicability of all ceramic is better than that of light ceramic fillers:


although both all ceramic and light ceramic fillers can be cut, all ceramic can make products with large openings that can cause turbulence between gas and liquid, making gas-liquid exchange more complete, ensuring more complete contact between gas and liquid, prolonging gas-liquid exchange time, increasing effective surface area, and improving purification effect. However, the strength of light ceramics is too low to produce large open hole products that can cause turbulence between gas and liquid.

5、 All ceramic fillers are easier to maintain than light ceramic fillers:


both all ceramic fillers and light ceramic fillers have good thermal shock resistance and can be blown by high-temperature steam. However, the vapor-liquid reaction inside the light ceramic absorption tower, such as absorbing chemicals such as fluorene, oxidized fluorene, anthracene, oxidized anthracene, naphthalene, sodium sulfite, etc. in coke oven gas, is prone to salt precipitation inside the product, causing it to split and split. Causing blockage of the packing tower, the blockage maintenance is also a waste product that needs to be purchased again.
